Fairfirst Sri Lanka has chosen NTT DATA FA Insurance Systems, as its primary Technology partner in upgrading its technology backbone to a state-of-the-art, best-in-class, technology platform that will enhance the customer journey at Fairfirst. In mid-July, Fairfirst went live with Project Butterfly, with the release of its Personal Accident Line of Business in the new and enhanced technology platform, followed by Travel and Marine Line of Business. Other portfolios are sequenced and will be rolled out for public consumption in a sequential manner over the next few months.
Project Butterfly is a business transformational Project implemented to replace a 23-year-old legacy system. The new technology platform is a state-of-the-art IT system, which enables Fairfirst to embrace a design-led thinking culture, focusing on a tech-driven agenda extending flexibility of work processes to the Fairfirst teams, business partners and customers. Project Butterfly is expected to provide improvement in multiple areas related to 5 key components – Modernity, Consolidation, Standardization, Centralization and Optimization.
NTT DATA FA Insurance Systems, Fairfirst’s technology partner in this endeavour, is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that Project Butterfly progresses and achieves all the milestones set out, despite working under restricted circumstances due to the world wide impact of COVID-19.
